Foundations
of coaching efficiency
Global vision One can not have a global vision
of one's own actions. Far from being a confession
of weakness, requesting accompaniment by a professional demonstrates
intelligence.
External observer The coach brings a neutral external
vision: the point of view of a person
not involved in the events. He helps his client to step back from
the situation and allows him to obtain a clearer vision of the ins
and outs of the situation and thus of the actions to be implemented.
Objective partner The coach,
unlike co-workers, friends or family members, can be an objective
partner due to his position which has no relational stake.
Work in pairs
The coach, as an external
observer, is the perfect partner to enable the client to take advantage
of the efficiency of work in pairs, based on oral elaboration and
constructive questioning.
Listening and availability
The coach uses his listening skills, his availability, his friendly
attitude, his experience of change processes and his thorough knowledge
of the tools he has at his disposal to help his client reach a higher
level of efficiency in resolving his problems quickly.
